Violent Extremism: Context, Consequences and Countermeasures
In the midst of increasing attacks by white supremacists and other extremist individuals and groups, we invite you to join Dr. Georges Benjamin and Dean Amy Fairchild for the College of Public Health’s fall installment of the dean’s lecture series "Changing the Conversation ." Benjamin, executive director of the American Public Health Association, will discuss the implications of the rise of violent extremism, the paths to radicalization and what public health practitioners and others can do to counter the threat.
