Tra Pham, L.L.B., L.L.M., Ph.D.
Dr. Tra Pham is the Assistant Dean for Graduate and International Affairs at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. In her role, Dr. Pham leads the law school’s LLM program, Master in the Study of Law (MSL) program for working professionals, and the summer certificate program on Foundations of U.S. Law and Practice. She also oversees Moritz’s partnerships with 28 foreign universities and institutions, study abroad programs (one-semester and full-year exchange programs; the Oxford summer program; and 2-week summer programs in Brazil and China), and the Visiting Research Scholars program. Dr. Pham serves as the academic advisor for LLM and MSL students, and the bar exam advisor for international LLM students.
Dr. Pham is an international lawyer with expertise in international arbitration, international business law, and international investment law. She earned her first law degree from Hanoi Law University (Vietnam), and LLM degrees from Leuven University (Belgium), Heidelberg University (Germany), and American University Washington College of Law (US). She also holds a Doctor of Laws degree from Leuven University. Her Ph.D. research focused on international investment law and arbitration. She is licensed to practice law in Vietnam and the New York State.
Prior to joining the Moritz College of Law, Dr. Pham led the International Legal Studies LLM programs at American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C.
