Terri McKee
Terri McKee is the Staff Attorney for the Ohio Governor's Expedited Pardon Project and Opportunity Port at the Drug Enforcement and Policy Center (DEPC). Terri is passionate about working toward a more humane, equitable, and restorative system to deal with harm. Prior to joining DEPC, Terri worked as an attorney at the Office of the Ohio Public Defender, Youth Defense Department, representing clients for their parole hearings made possible by the passage of Ohio Senate Bill 256. While in law school, Terri worked as a volunteer, extern, and summer intern at Ohio Justice & Policy Center (OJPC) on their Beyond Guilt project, advocating for second look sentencing and release for people who had been over-punished. During the summer after her first year of law school, Terri was an intern at Community Refugee and Immigration Services (CRIS) in Columbus, Ohio, where she assisted in immigration and asylum cases. Terri earned her J.D. from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature, with a minor in Linguistics, from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
