Stephanie Ziegler
Bio
Stephanie Ziegler is a law librarian at the Moritz Law Library. She provides reference services to faculty, students, and the public and teaches Legal Analysis and Writing I, Advanced Legal Research: Litigation and ADR and Ohio Legal Research.
Prior to joining the law library, Ziegler worked as a reference librarian at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Law Library at Marquette University Law School. She has also worked at public libraries in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin and Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, and at the Jerome Hall Law Library at the Indiana University School of Law.
Ziegler is a member of the Michigan Bar and clerked for a civil/criminal judge at the Seventh Judicial District Court in Flint, Michigan. She also clerked and practiced in two Michigan firms, primarily in the areas of medical malpractice defense, criminal defense, wills and trusts, and personal injury.
Ziegler received her B.A. with a double major in English and history from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. She earned her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, where she was named a Moot Court Top Oralist. She received her M.L.I.S. from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
