    On June 5, 2015, the South Carolina Senate confirmed Catherine Heigel '95 as director of the state's Department of Health and Environmental Control. She previously served as general counsel and corporate strategies officer for Elliott Davis Decosimo, LLC. Prior to that she served as president of Duke Energy South Carolina. Read more
