Current and former Moritz College of Law students may obtain two types of transcripts: official and unofficial. Beginning on August 1, 2018, Moritz College of Law students will be able to obtain official transcripts through the University Registrar. Your past Moritz fees include the cost of the transcript. Thus, there is no fee for this service.
If you’ve been requested to provide an official transcript, click here to learn how to request an official transcript.
If you are unsure of what kind of transcript you need, please see the descriptions below of both unofficial and official transcripts. If you are still uncertain of what kind of transcript you require after reading the descriptions, please contact the requesting party and ask if they prefer an official or unofficial transcript.
Official transcripts contain the University Registrar’s signature and a college seal. They are also printed on watermarked paper.
Unofficial transcripts are printed on plain paper and do not contain signatures or stamps.
The University Registrar can provide you with an official transcript in various ways once it is requested. This includes:
Mail: An official transcript can be shipped to you by mail. Please note that expedited delivery services may be accompanied by an additional delivery cost.
Pick-up: You may also pick up the transcript in person at the Student Academic Services Building which is located at 281 West Lane Avenue, Columbus, Ohio.
Electronically: The University Registrar may be able to provide you with an electronic transcript.
