Pauline Tesler to Speak at Lawrence Negotiation Lecture Sept. 30

The annual Lawrence Negotiation Lecture this year will feature Pauline Tesler, who will be speaking on "Collaborative Practice and Deep Resolution of Client Conflicts." Ms. Tesler is a pioneer in the collaborative law movement, and she will be talking about her experiences and lessons from her many years in the collaborative law field, with an emphasis on practical anecdotes that the students can use for the Lawrence Negotiation Competition. Lawrence Negotiation Competition October 11-15

The annual Lawrence Negotiation Competition this year is scheduled for October 11-15, the week after fall break. This competition is a chance for any student interested in negotiation to hone their skills, and the winners and runners up qualify as Moritz’s representatives in the regional ABA Law Student Division Negotiation Competition, and can move on to the national competition. ››Read More

Rishi BatraThis summer Rishi Batra joined the Moritz College of Law as the new Langdon Fellow in Dispute Resolution. Spotlight: Summer in Oxford Program

Several Mortiz students had a fantastic summer in England, while learning about ADR. These students participated in the Summer in Oxford Program, which allows students from many different law schools to study at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England, with faculty from both Oxford and Mortiz. Certificate in Dispute Resolution Allows Students to Distinguish Themselves

The Certificate in Dispute Resolution is a way for students interested in dispute resolution to distinguish themselves as qualified to meet the challenges of today’s holistic, problem-solving legal market. Students that complete the requirements for the certificate are honored by the College of Law with a special notation on their transcript as well as a separate document from the JD Diploma, which certifies them as having advanced knowledge and practical experience in the field of dispute resolution. ››Read More
