Professor Dennis Hirsch appointed to advisory board for IAPP AI Governance Center




Dennis Hirsch, professor at the Moritz College of Law and the Department of Computer Science, Director of the Program on Data and Governance, and Co-director of the OSU Responsible Data Science Community of Practice of the Translational Data Analytics Institute, has been appointed to the advisory board for the recently launched IAPP AI Governance Center. Other Members of the advisory board include Julie Brill, CPO at Microsoft, Naomi Lefkovitz, Senior Policy Advisor at NIST, Keith Enright, CPO at Google, among other representatives from the private sector and academia.
As a member of the AI Governance Center Advisory Board, Professor Hirsch will help build the professional community to grow AI governance knowledge, connect industry professionals, and shape the field so that AI is implemented across organizations in a trustworthy way. Privacy professionals can be critical in responding to the urgent need to scale AI governance quickly.
