Sarvani Vemuri (she/her/hers), Editor-in-Chief

Sarvani is the Editor-in-Chief of OSJDR. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati with degrees in Psychology and Political Science. After graduation, Sarvani will join Dinsmore & Shohl's healthcare practice group in the firm's Columbus office. In her free time, Sarvani enjoys baking, spending time outside, and watching movies with friends and family.

Keith Richards, Chief Note Editor

Keith Richards acts as Chief Note Editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. Keith graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors in Psychology and French and a Business Foundations Certificate, and graduated from Ball State University with a Masters in Psychology. Keith serves in the U.S. Air Force and will be an Air Force Judge Advocate after graduation in May of 2025. Outside of law school, Keith enjoys exercising, hiking, reading, and writing.

Zarah Fulay (she/her/hers), Executive Editor

Zarah Fulay is the Executive Editor for OSJDR. She is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and she graduated from the Ohio State University with degrees in Political Science and International Studies. After graduation, Zarah will be working for Ice Miller LLP in Columbus. In her free time, Zarah enjoys watching theater performances, going to concerts, and traveling.

Georgia McLachlan (she/her/hers), Chief Managing Editor

Georgia McLachlan is a third year law student and the Chief Managing Editor for OSJDR. She is originally from Salem, Ohio, and she graduated from OSU with a degree in Environment and Natural Resources. After graduating from law school in 2025, Georgia hopes to pursue a career in environmental or immigration law. Outside of school, Georgia enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, and reading.

AJ Miller, Chief Articles Editor

AJ Miller is a 3L at Ohio State who comes from Rock Hill, South Carolina. Prior to his time at Ohio State, he received degrees in Psychology and Government with a concentration in American Politics from Wofford College. Outside of Law School, AJ has held positions at the Ohio Public Defender and the Federal Public Defender in Columbus.

Ladan Jaballas, Chief Online Editor

Ladan Jaballas is a third-year law student and Chief Online Editor for OSJDR. Originally from Stow, Ohio, Ladan graduated from New York University in 2020 and worked in corporate retail for two years prior to attending law school. Following graduation in May of 2025, Ladan will focus her practice on corporate transactional law at Hahn Loeser & Parks. Outside of law school, Ladan enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Nicolino A. Orengo, Business Editor

Nicolino Orengo, a current 3L, is the Business Editor for JDR. Nicolino graduated from the University at Buffalo prior to starting Law School and has enjoyed Moritz from the beginning! Nicolino's goals post graduation would be to find a job in the legal field that makes them happiest because a job is not a “job” if you're happy!

Karlie Gorall (she/her/hers), Chief Online Note Editor

Karlie is the Chief Online Note Editor for OSJDR. Originally from Rochester, New York, Karlie graduated from Wilkes University with a B.A. in Criminology. Outside of law school, Karlie enjoys cooking, spending time with her friends, and watching soccer.

Kris Parchem (she/they), Symposium Editor

Kris Parchem is the Symposium Editor for OSJDR. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Kris graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Cultural Studies and a minor in Radio. Following graduation in May of 2025, Kris would like to focus their practice on transactional work. Outside of law school, Kris enjoys baking, hiking, and playing board games.

Patrick is a third-year law student at OSU and the Source Editor for JDR. 

Alea Harris, Note Editor

Alea Harris is beginning her third year at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She is a graduate of Wofford College where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and awarded magna cum laude honors at graduation. Last year, Alea served as the President of the Black Law Student Association. This year she will serve as a Note Editor for the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. After graduation, she will join Vorys, Sater, Seymour, and Pease LLP as a first-year associate in their labor and employment group. Outside of school, Alea loves watching sports, reading, building Legos, and cooking.

Jane Sensibaugh (she/her/hers), Note Editor

Jane Sensibaugh is a Note Editor for OSJDR. She has a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy and Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice and a Certificate in Business French from the University of Cincinnati. Jane plans on applying her legal knowledge with the Labor & Employment practice group at Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter after graduation. In her free time, Jane likes to play with her puppy (Malcom), go hiking, and is training for a marathon.

Deryn Murphy, Managing Editor

Deryn Murphy is a Managing Editor for OSJDR. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Deryn graduated from Miami University with degrees in Political Science and Spanish. Outside of law school, Deryn enjoys traveling and spending time with friends.

Christiana Lafferty, Managing Editor

Christiana Lafferty is a Managing Editor for OSJDR. Originally from Seminole, Florida, Christiana graduated from Southeastern University with a double major in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice. Following graduation in May of 2025, Christiana is pursuing a career in litigation. Outside of law school, she enjoys hiking, reading, and taking road trips with her husband.

Ayrissa Schmidt (she/her/hers), Managing Editor

Ayrissa Schmidt is a Managing Editor for OSJDR. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Ayrissa graduated from Miami University with a degree in Quantitative Economics. Prior to attending law school, Ayrissa served in the United States Navy for five years. Outside of law school, Ayrissa enjoys working out, trying new food, and playing with her two Golden Retrievers.

Following graduation in May 2025, Jenna is looking forward to returning to her home city of Cincinnati to apply her legal knowledge at KMK Law in the litigation group. Outside of law school, Jenna enjoys running, hiking, and reading.

Gustavo Chaux (he/him/his), Staff Editor

Gustavo Chaux is a 2L Staff Editor for OSJDR. Before law school, Gustavo played soccer for Tiffin University while earning a degree in Forensic Psychology. Before law school, Gustavo also spent a year playing soccer in his home country of Colombia with a professional team. With free time, Gustavo enjoys playing sports and watching horror movies.

Olivia Fosson, Staff Editor

Olivia Fosson is a Staff Editor for OSJDR. Olivia is from Appalachian Ohio but headed West for her undergraduate education to study at Oklahoma City University, where she earned her Bachelor of Music and a Minor in French. Outside of law school, Olivia enjoys reading, traveling, visiting the family Christmas tree farm, and doting on her cat, Sylvie.

Noah Golovan (he/him/his), Staff Editor

Noah Golovan is a 2L Staff Editor for OSJDR. Before law school, Noah was a Captain of the Varsity Swim and Dive Team and Student Body President at the College of Wooster while earning an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Political Science. In his freetime, Noah enjoys spending time with his friends and his dog, trying new recipes, and hiking.

Brittany Grice, Staff Editor

Brittany is a Staff Editor for OSJDR. While at the University of Florida, Brittany double-majored in Business Administration and Sport Management. Brittany currently serves as the Vice President of the Black Law Student Association and as the Secretary for the Sports & Entertainment Law Association. Outside of law school, Brittany loves to watch sports, play pickleball, and spend time with her friends and family.

Jennifer Shin is a Staff Editor for OSJDR. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Jennifer graduated from the University of Dayton with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. Outside of law school, Jennifer enjoys reading, going on walks, and spending time with family and friends.

Osama Khairi, Staff Editor

Osama Khairi is currently a 2L at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. His legal areas of interest include all dispute resolution, international law, and transactional practice. He was first drawn by the Journal of Dispute Resolution at Moritz due to his previous interest in International Conflict and methods that could be used to resolve them. Additionally, he thinks being part of the journal is an excellent opportunity that will help grow his legal writing and research skills.

Lucy Li (she/her/hers), Staff Editor

Lucy is a second-year law student at the Ohio State Moritz College of Law. Lucy was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and grew up Shanghai, China. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s in communications. Outside of law school, Lucy enjoys hiking, traveling, and hanging out with her cat.

Joe Malinger, Staff Editor

Joe Malinger is a Staff Editor for OSJDR. He is originally from Aberdeen, New Jersey, and is a Double Buckeye graduating from Ohio State in 2020 with a degree in Political Science and Sport Industry.  Following graduation in May of 2026, Joe plans on pursuing a career in labor and employment law. Outside of law school, Joe enjoys board games, fantasy football, and making charcuterie boards.

Jon Michael is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from Bellarmine University in 2023 with degrees in Political Science and Psychology and a minor in History. 

Maegan Moynahan (she/her/hers), Staff Editor

Maegan Moynahan is originally from Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BBA in Finance and a BA in Economics, and a minor in Mandarin Chinese. This upcoming summer she is working at Dinsmore & Shohl where she hopes to hone her litigation acumen and gain hands-on experience with ADR. In the future Maegan would like to center her practice around ADR. Outside of school she loves reading, cooking, yoga, and spending time with friends.

Edem Nevis is a staff editor for OSJDR. Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Edem graduated with from the Ohio State University with a Health Sciences major. Outside of law school, he enjoys sports and working out.
