Judges & Bailiffs
The Moot Court Governing Board is always actively seeking judges for the various competitions that we host. Having high-quality judges for our competitors is an essential part of the learning process that all of these competitions represent. Judges are only asked to volunteer a small portion of time and are provided with complementary food and parking.
If you are interested in judging any of the competitions that we host, please contact Mary Rose Sullivan (firstname.lastname@example.org) to get more information. Thank You.
Moritz is located in John Deaver Drinko Hall at 55 West 12th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43210-1391
- For ease of navigation, a map of OSU’s campus is available
Each competition requires a number of bailiffs to keep time for the competitors, assist the judges in the courtroom, and ensure the smooth operation of our competitions. First-year students at Moritz interested in competition organization and the Moot Court Program can apply to volunteer as bailiff. In return, bailiffs get to interact with members of the legal community, gain exposure to oral arguments and the opportunity to listen to judges’ critiques.
