Biography
After graduating from the College, Professor Smith worked as an associate at Jones Day before becoming a career law clerk for the Honorable Sandra S. Beckwith of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. For eleven years, from 2006 to 2017, he was Moritz’s assistant dean for academic affairs. He returned to Moritz to teach as a visiting senior lecturer in 2019 and in 2020 joined the permanent faculty.
