Michael K. Lewis, a mediator, arbitrator, ombudsman, court monitor and special master, has worked in dispute resolution for close to 40 years. He conducts his neutral work through JAMS, and is based in JAMS’ Washington, DC Resolution Center. He has extensive experience in employment, environmental, civil rights, credit, franchise, products liability and consumer disputes. Mr. Lewis taught mediation in the Harvard Negotiation Institute for almost 30 years, and mediation and negotiation at Georgetown University Law Center for more than 20 years. He has prepared lawyers to mediate in federal and state courts across the country, and has trained mediators in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and In Europe.
