Michael Eggiman
Michael Eggiman is the Rights Restoration Legal Fellow for the Drug Enforcement and Policy Center. Michael will serve as a staff attorney for DEPC's service engagement project, Opportunity Port, a digital record sealing platform. Previously, Michael worked as a Staff Attorney for Legal Aid Society of Columbus. At Legal Aid, Michael served within two practice areas: Housing and RISE (Reentry, Income Security, and Education). In housing, Michael represented tenants in evictions and with escrowing their rent, and in RISE, he helped clients apply for criminal record sealing and expungement while also representing them in contested applications. He also helped clients navigate the unemployment process and represented students in school disciplinary cases and special education meetings. Michael holds a J.D. from Moritz and a B.A. in English and Political Science from The Ohio State University.
