Women in Business Law: Discussing Ethics, with Litigator Rasheeda Khan

Rasheeda is an experienced civil litigator, criminal defense and ethics attorney who has been litigating and trying cases for over sixteen years. She will talk about ethics in the context of her experience as a trial lawyer, representing large corporations, foreign companies, universities and government entities, and her advocacy on behalf of individuals charged with professional misconduct, white-collar crimes, or violent felonies in both federal and state courts.
Before joining Peterson Conners, Rasheeda served in the Office of the Federal Public Defender, Southern District of Ohio as an Assistant Federal Defender, where she represented clients charged with federal felonies including healthcare fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, mortgage fraud, embezzlement, data theft, computer sex crimes, immigration offenses, and drug and firearm offenses.
Rasheeda was also Director at Kegler Brown Hill & Ritter, where her primary practice areas included complex commercial litigation, corporate investigations, criminal litigation, employment litigation, professional responsibility and disciplinary proceedings, and other areas of litigation. Rasheeda represented clients, including lawyers and judges, charged with ethical misconduct before the Ohio Supreme Court Board of Commissioners on Discipline and Grievances.
Rasheeda earned a B.A. from The Ohio State University, and a J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
