Laura Vlieg
Laura Vlieg is a law librarian at the Moritz Law Library, where she provides reference and research services to faculty, students, and the public. She also teaches Legal Analysis and Writing I and Advanced Legal Research.
Prior to joining Moritz she served as a Research Librarian and Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law, where she taught Lawyering Process II and Administrative Law. Vlieg also served as a Law Library Fellow at the James E. Rogers College of Law Daniel F. Cracchiolo Law Library while pursuing her Master’s in Library and Information Science at the University of Arizona where she taught several units in Advanced Legal Research, provided reference services, and planned student outreach events.
Before her academic career, Vlieg practiced law in the Washington DC area, where she provided legal advice to aerospace companies and acted as the Regulatory Affairs Manager for multiple trade association clients.
Vlieg obtained her JD from the College of William & Mary Marshall-Wythe Law School, and is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries and the Ohio Regional Association of Law Libraries.
