Kelly Cafferkey
Kelly Cafferkey is the Assistant Director of International Programs at Moritz College of Law. She oversees the administration of various programs including the LLM, visiting research scholar, and Foundations of U.S. Law & Practice program. Additionally, she is responsible for managing the marketing of study abroad programs at Moritz College of Law.
Kelly joined Ohio State and Moritz in 2021 to oversee program admissions in the Office of International and Graduate Affairs. Her current responsibilities include focusing on international student recruitment, promoting international and study abroad programs, and facilitating professional development opportunities for international students.
Before transitioning to higher education, Kelly gained extensive experience in marketing, with a focus on social media engagement. She worked directly on the growth and community-building efforts for brands such as REI, Michaels Stores, Wyndham Resorts, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Novartis, and Chelsea F.C. As a dual citizen of the United States and Ireland (EU) and originating from Chicago, Illinois, Kelly's professional path has been shaped by her various experiences. Having lived in three prominent European cities, Kelly leverages her international background to assist students in navigating their own global journeys.
Kelly graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in public relations. During her time as a student, Kelly worked for the university's marketing department, where she developed an interest in working in higher education. Additionally, Kelly is currently a master's student at The Ohio State University John Glenn College of Public Affairs, studying public administration and leadership.
