Jodi Allalen
Bio
Jodi Allalen is a seasoned alumni engagement and events professional with over two decades of experience in government relations, event management, and alumni programming.
Currently serving as the Alumni Relations Coordinator at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, Jodi leads strategic outreach to over 11,000 alumni, fostering meaningful connections through signature events such as Alumni Awards, Homecoming, and Discussions from Drinko Hall. She serves as a project manager for all alumni events, demonstrating expertise in both virtual and in-person engagement.
Jodi also acts as the liaison to the National Council, coordinating meetings, developing impactful programming, and managing communications with council members. Her role includes overseeing volunteer engagement, directing the Alumni Awards process, and providing meaningful outreach and social events to maintain and grow lifelong relationships with law school alumni.
Prior to joining Ohio State, Jodi held roles at American Municipal Power, Inc. and the Ohio Municipal Electric Association, where she managed member events, scholarship programs, and government relations. Her work included planning large-scale conferences, coordinating legislative rallies, and producing communications for state and federal advocacy efforts.
Jodi began her career at the Ohio House of Representatives, where she served as both a Legislative Aide and
Legislative Committee Clerk. In these roles, she trained staff on parliamentary procedures, managed legislative committees, and supported multiple state representatives with constituent services and communications.
Jodi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Northern University.
