Halle Hara, B.A., J.D.

Halle Hara is a Senior Lecturer, Externship Director, and Judicial Liaison at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She oversees the College's externship program and teaches experiential learning courses, working closely with judges and other legal employers to expand experiential learning opportunities. She previously taught at Capital University Law School. Before entering academia, she spent more than fifteen years as a career and term law clerk to four federal judges and practiced general business litigation at Jones Day and Thompson Hine LLP. She serves on the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Professionalism and mentors new lawyers through the Supreme Court of Ohio Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentoring Program. Her program leadership and teaching focus on preparing students for the transition from law school to legal practice.
