Greif, Inc. will make a $150,000 gift over 4 years to create a new fund known as the Greif Sustainability D.C. Scholarship Program Fund. This fund will provide scholarships to one or more students who are enrolled in the Moritz College of Law Washington D.C. Summer Program and are interested in working in the area of sustainability.

The Washington D.C. Summer Program provides an exceptional experiential learning opportunity to approximately 20 students each summer. Students work in substantive externships in addition to taking coursework, networking, and developing critical professional skills. Greif’s gift supports the development of the next generation of lawyers and leaders working in sustainability and ensures the program continues to be impactful.

The fund also exemplifies Greif’s commitment to its core value of sustainability. The organization’s investment in careers in sustainability complements its 2030 Sustainability Targets. Together with Ohio State Law, Greif will enhance students’ practical education while advancing its mission as a leader in sustainability.
