Michael Robertson is an associate in the Columbus office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister, LLP. Michael’s practice is primarily focused on commercial and appellate litigation in federal courts. His experience also includes individual and corporate criminal defense and investigations. Prior to joining Taft, he was a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of an international AM Law 100 firm. Before joining private practice, Michael clerked for the Hon. Stephanie D. Thacker of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Hon. Jane J. Boyle for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Michael received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law where he served as an Executive Editor on the Virginia Law Review. Michael received his B.A. in Archaeology and American Studies from the University of Virginia where he also lettered at wide receiver on the varsity football team. Michael has taught Appellate Advocacy at Moritz and volunteers his time with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, ProMusica, and by riding for Pelotonia.
