Joan M. Krauskopf
Professor Krauskopf was a member of the Order of the Coif and co-editor of the Ohio State Law Journal while in law school.
Before joining the Ohio State faculty in 1987, Professor Krauskopf was the R.B. Price Professor of Law at the University of Missouri at Columbia and was a commissioner on the Missouri Human Rights Commission. She also chaired the Law School Subcommittee of the Ohio Supreme Court and Ohio State Bar Association Joint Task Force on Gender Fairness in the Legal Profession.
She has taught at North Carolina, Arizona, and West Virginia. At West Virginia, she held the Maier Chair.
During her time at the college, Professor Krauskopf taught Family Law, Torts, and seminars in ElderLaw and Children. She has published widely on a variety of subjects, including family law and torts. She co-authored and edited ElderLaw: Advocacy for the Aging.
