Chris is an assistant city prosecutor for Delaware, Ohio, having previously served as an assistant county prosecutor in Ashland, Ohio. He has represented the State of Ohio at trial and appeal on a range of misdemeanor and felony cases, and has also advised city officials on various civil issues, including drafting local ordinances.
Chris earned his B.A. in History with departmental honors from Miami University, and his J.D. from The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, where he graduated as a public service law fellow with Dean’s highest honors. During law school, Chris was Editor-in-Chief of I/S: A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society (since renamed the Ohio State Technology Law Journal), and represented the College at the TYLA National Trial Competition and the Georgetown National Security Crisis Law Invitational.
