Distinguished Lecture on AI Law and Policy

This annual Distinguished Lecture brings renowned thought leaders to Moritz to present innovative ideas on legal, ethical, technological, and other strategies for governing big data analytics. An invited scholar presents while a second invited scholar comments and engages the lecturer in debate.

 

Our last Distinguished Lecture featured

Danielle Keats Citron, Jefferson Scholars Foundation Schenck Distinguished Professor in Law, University of Virginia School of Law as speaker, and Fanna Gamal, Assistant Professor of Law UCLA School of Law as commentator.

The lecture was titled "The Surveilled Student"

In her lecture, Professor Danielle Citron shared a clear-eyed analysis of the costs and benefits of student surveillance and provided policy recommendations to protect students' privacy and free expression while fostering equal opportunities and democratic engagement.
