DCP Programs and Initiatives

We help local leaders strengthen and expand their capacity and resiliency to meet these challenges seared by tensions, unrest, and civil discord.

The Divided Community Project (DCP) seeks to support community leaders as they identify and address issues tearing at the social fabric of their respective communities. Grounded in dispute resolution, mediation, and dispute systems design theory and practice, DCP brings together, community leaders, activists, law enforcement, and academics to develop practice guidance for community leaders in diverse communities.

We know each local community has the capacity to develop its own solutions to meet its unique needs and offer these tools for community leaders, campus leaders, faculty, community members, and attorneys or mediators to assist them in their important work. It is in this spirit that we offer our resources.
