Elizabeth Watkins, B.S., J.D.
Beth Watkins is a double Buckeye with a J.D. from Moritz College of Law and a degree in Business Administration from the Fisher College of Business. She joined the career development team at Moritz in 2017.
A lifelong Midwesterner, Beth began her professional career in the general corporate practice group at Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease. However, her most recent work has been focused on helping others accomplish their life goals. At Community Refugee and Immigration Services (CRIS), Beth helped resettled refugees in Columbus to find their first employment in the U.S. As an immigration attorney with the Vineyard Community Center, she worked with over two hundred immigrants to obtain and maintain their DACA status. Beth also spent over a decade on the Board of Trustees of Central State University.
Energized by finding creative solutions to students' job acquisition challenges, Beth loves encouraging students to take charge of their careers. She knows that there is space in the practice of law for different personalities, interests, temperaments, and goals. The exciting part of her job is helping each student find the right starting point and begin building their own path.
