The Vincent and Elizabeth Buttaci Oxford Scholarship Fund

Vincent and Elizabeth Butacci established this fund in 2020 for students participating in the Oxford Summer Program. These endowed funds are used to encourage Moritz College of Law students to engage in education abroad opportunities.
About the Fellowship
The Vincent and Elizabeth Buttaci Oxford Scholarship Fund awards $7,700 per year, covering the full program fee for one Moritz College of Law student participating in the Oxford Summer Program. The participant will be responsible for their own flight costs as well as any incidentals.
Applicant Eligibility
This funding is available for The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law students only. Granting of the funding is dependent upon acceptance to and participation in the program. Registered students can apply separately following the instructions below. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate financial need.
Application Deadline
Applications are due by March 1 by noon (12:00pm).
Application Requirements
Please complete the Moritz College of Law Fellowships and Scholarships application (accessed through the “Apply Now” button at the bottom of the page). In addition to completing the application form, you will also need to upload PDF versions of the following documents:
- a 250-word statement describing how enrollment in the Oxford Summer Program aligns with your interests and will support your short and long-term goals. Provide any information that demonstrates your financial need.
- Current resume
Decision Timeline
The Office of International and Graduate Affairs will inform the awardee of the Vincent and Elizabeth Buttaci Oxford Scholarship Fund by March 15.

The Oxford Scholarship Fund
Summary
This fund is the result of the generosity of multiple donors and will contribute to funding multiple students’ participation in the Oxford Summer Program. These endowed funds are used to encourage Moritz College of Law students to engage in education abroad opportunities.
About the Fellowship
The Oxford Scholarship Fund awards two $3,000 scholarships and one $250 scholarship per year to Moritz College of Law students to assist in paying for eligible education abroad program expenses, including program costs, airfare, etc.
