The Nadorff International Fund Fellowship

Summary

The Nadorff International Fund Fellowship, established in 2019 by the generosity of Moritz alumnus Norman Nadorff, supports one Moritz College of Law J.D. student by awarding $5,000 to assist with funding summer work abroad.

About The Fellowship

Students are responsible for finding their own placement abroad, at either a private or public legal setting.

Applicant Eligibility

Awardees will have demonstrated interest in international work, foreign language fluency, and plans to continue legal studies or perform legal research outside of the U.S., particularly in civil law jurisdictions. Recipients shall be selected in accordance to current guidelines and procedures established by the College.

Application Deadline

Applications are due on or before March 1 by noon (12:00pm).

Application Requirements

Please complete the Moritz College of Law Fellowships and Scholarships application (accessed through the “Apply Now” button at the bottom of the page). In addition to completing the application form, you will also need to upload PDF versions of the following documents:

  • A personal statement of 250 words. The statement should describe your interest in international work, your foreign language fluency, and plans to continue legal studies or perform legal research outside of the U.S., particularly in civil law jurisdictions.
  • Current resume
  • A letter confirming an international placement
