Professor Kim Jordan, who specializes in the law areas of child abuse and neglect, was recently quoted in an article by The New York Times titled, “A Gymnastics Coach Was Charged With Human Trafficking. What Does That Mean?”
Definitions of human trafficking and criminal penalties for it differ by state, but broadly speaking, trafficking focuses on “the exploitation of a person for another person’s benefit,” said Jordan.
