Professor Edward Foley was prominently featured in a recent New York Times article discussing the Kentucky Governor’s race and other similar political elections.

Foley, an expert in election law and the director of Election Law @ Moritz told the New York Times that politicians that contest close elections can sometimes face long-term consequences.

“You see that lesson sometimes in U.S. history, of saying, ‘Do we have to fight for the last ballot in this election to get a fair count this time or should we just go home and regroup and try again a few years later?’ There’s been an ambivalence in the American psyche about that,” he said.
