Coronavirus and the law: what you should know about Ohio’s stay-at-home-order
Professor Micah Berman was recently quoted in an article by FreshWater Cleveland titled, “Coronavirus and the law: what you should know about Ohio’s stay-at-home-order.”
In it, Berman outlines the actions taken by federal and state governments concerning the COVID-19 outbreak and how much their orders can be enforced.
The courts have “understood that difficult trade-offs have to be made in rapidly-changing circumstances defined by uncertainty,” he said.
Berman, an expert in health and public health law, holds a joint appointment with The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and the College of Public Health.
