David Stebenne, professor of law and history, received the Clio Award for “outstanding teacher in history” from the honors society Phi Alpha Theta.

The honors society gives out the award annually, based on nominations submitted by undergraduate students majoring in history. Stebenne is the first faculty member to win the award twice, having received the honor before in 1999.
