Clinical Professor Terri Enns and Professor Dennis Hirsch among contributors to Ohio Attorney General Facial Recognition Task Force report
The Ohio Attorney General Facial Recognition Task Force, which features Moritz College of Law professors Dennis Hirsch and Terri Enns, released its latest report and recommendations on Jan. 26.
Hirsch’s section (co-written with Brian Ray of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law) recommends that “Ohio’s Facial Recognition Policy should address routine monitoring, periodic audits, enforcement, and public transparency. A policy that successfully integrated each of these elements would reflect best practices and could serve as a model for other states and localities.”
Enns, a Clinical Professor of Law and the Senior Fellow of Election Law at Moritz, is also a member of ACLU Ohio and teaches in the Legislation Clinic, in addition to teaching a section of the first-year Legal Writing course.
