WOSU to air ‘Letter from Birmingham Jail’ film Tuesday

Professors and alumni from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and several Central Ohio leaders and residents read Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail” as part of a moving film that will be broadcast on WOSU TV at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014.

The film, produced by Ohio State’s Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Technology, features dignitaries and legal luminaries, including Dean Alan C. Michaels, Carl Smallwood ’80, President Emeritus and Professor of Law E. Gordon Gee, Associate Dean for Admissions Kathy Northern, Professor Emeritus of Law Nancy Hardin Rogers, Assistant Dean for Admissions Robert Solomon II ’88, Yvette McGee Brown ’85 and Sharon Davies, the executive director of the Kirwan Institute and the Gregory H. Williams Chair in Civil Rights and Civil Liberties at Moritz.
