In a time when race relations are again making national headlines, Director of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Community Relations Service Grande H. Lum will present a talk on the importance of conflict resolution and the conciliation needs of communities throughout the nation. Lum will present the 2014 Lawrence Negotiation Lecture in the Saxbe Auditorium on Sept. 30 at noon.
There will be an informational meeting for students interested in getting involved with the Law School Republicans on Friday, Sept. 12, from 12:10 – 1:15 p.m. in Room 250.
Meet the faculty of Election Law @ Moritz and learn about 2014 election season activities and how to get involved during a meet and greet event on Friday, Sept. 12, from 12:10 – 1 p.m. in Room 244.
This event will give students interested in criminal law/public interest law an idea about what the day to day work of prosecutors and public defenders are like. The panel, scheduled to be held on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 12:10 – 1:15 p.m. in Room 246, will highlight the differences between representing opposing parties in a trial.
