JAMS Foundation supports Divided Community Project with $300,000 grant
The Divided Community Project (DCP) received a generous grant of $300,000 from the JAMS Foundation. The grant will allow DCP to continue its efforts to expand mediation and training initiatives for communities across the United States. The project recently launched The Bridge Initiative, which aims to provide local leaders with the proper mediation techniques and practices to respond effectively to civil unrest and tension in various communities. Since its founding in 2015, this is the third grant DCP received from the JAMS Foundation. In total, the JAMS Foundation has contributed $900,000 to the project. The current grant is expected to fund DCP through the year 2021.
