Robert Bilott ’90 featured on CNN with Mark Ruffalo discussing battle with DuPont, upcoming film Dark Waters
Moritz graduate Robert Bilott was recently interviewed by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour about his ongoing battle against DuPont and the upcoming film that depicts that battle, starring Mark Ruffalo. The movie, Dark Waters, is set to be released in select theaters on Nov. 22, with a national release set for Dec. 6.
Bilott has also written a book called Exposure which chronicles a more personal telling of his experience working to bring to light the water pollution caused by the chemical company.
.@MarkRuffalo's new film @DarkWatersMovie tells a true story of secrecy and a shocking chemical disaster. I spoke with Ruffalo and the real life lawyer he plays, Rob Bilott, about corporate secrecy and DuPont's claims that the film isn't fair to them. "Bring it on," says Ruffalo. pic.twitter.com/E0gUK9fdii
