Moritz alumnus (’01), Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford helps pass bills that helps victims of domestic violence
Aaron Ford, the Nevada Attorney General and Moritz alumnus (2001), helped pass bills in his state that help the victims of domestic violence. Assembly Bill 60 was signed into law on Monday by Nevada governor Steve Sisolak and was sponsored by Ford, who spoke to the Las Vegas Review – Journal about the accomplishment.
“This is an exciting day for law enforcement, to be able to protect the citizens that we’ve sworn to protect,” said Ford. “Domestic violence is a growing trend in a negative sense for our state.”
