Moritz alumnus Kwame Christian was recently featured in a article titled, “Discussing Racism In The Workplace: Using Positive And Persistent Pressure To Enable Honest Dialogue.”

Christian, whose book “Nobody Will Play with Me: Using Compassionate Curiosity to Find Confidence in Conflict,” was published in 2018, said he had avoided speaking on the topic of racism and the death of George Floyd until recently changing his mind following a conversation with his wife.

“I had spent so much time working for civil rights and I had gotten burned out. I focused on using my skills to help with general negotiation situations,” he told Forbes. “However, my wife called my attention to the fact that if I didn’t speak up, I was doing my audience a disservice by not connecting what I do to what is happening today.”
