3L Reflections: Five recent grads take a look back, share their law school journeys

In the fall of 2012, we gathered a group of 1Ls together for a photoshoot and a survey. Weeks into their first year of law school, they raved about their professors and classmates. “I don’t think I can properly describe how great my professors are,” wrote Liane Roussseau, who had come from the University of Chicago.

“Each one has gone out of the way to prepare incredibly clear lectures while still keeping the classroom fun. We have PowerPoints featuring “South Park” characters, sound effects, and YouTube videos. You can tell the professors are very passionate about what they teach.”

“All of my classmates are extremely helpful and friendly. The Midwest charm is apparent from day one,” wrote Zachary Neumann, who came from Loyola University in Chicago.

Three years later, just before graduation, All Rise checked in on those same students and asked them to reflect on their law school experiences.
