Costs of the Bar Exam

Below are the costs to apply for and take the Ohio bar exam. Be prepared to pay multiple fees over the next two years.  Also, see the note below regarding Costs for Veterans.

Eligible veterans may receive reimbursement for the fee charged by the Ohio Supreme Court to take the bar examination under a licensing and certification benefit which took effect March 1, 2001.  For information about reimbursement benefits, and to find out if you are eligible, visit the GI Bill web site , especially the Licensing and Certification page. Note: only the cost of the test is reimbursable.
