The Online Certificate Program in Foundations of U.S. Law & Practice includes 4 separate modules. The Program is designed to provide law students, practitioners, legal professionals or any other professionals working in areas adjacent to the law with foundational theoretical and practical knowledge in major practice areas: Dispute Resolution, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, and International Business Law.
This Online Certificate Program is a self-paced, exclusively asynchronous program that allows participants to start any time and study at a pace that suits their day-to-day commitments.
Participants may select to enroll in any individual module or all of the four modules, and will receive a digital certificate of completion.
Learning Modules
- Foundations of U.S. Corporate Law & Practice
- Foundations of Dispute Resolution
- Foundations of Intellectual Property Law
- Foundations of International Business Law
Each module includes approximately 4-4.5 hours of recorded faculty lectures (videos). Participants may access the lectures according to their schedule, and will be able to access a professor when needed. Participants are required to complete reading assignments before each lecture. For each topic within each module, participants will be provided with a short quiz to test their understanding of the material or themes covered in the topic.
Program Cost
The full program with all four modules is $500. Individual modules are priced at $150 each.
