Assistant Dean Robert L. Solomon II has been appointed to a two-year term on the Law School Admission Council Board of Trustees.

Solomon, assistant dean for admissions and financial aid and director of Office of Diversity & Inclusion, is a 1988 graduate of the Moritz College of Law.

While his term began in June, Solomon has served the council in a number of capacities over the last 14 years, including on the Misconduct & Irregularities in Admission Committee, Finance & Legal Affairs Committee, the 2011 Annual Meeting Planning Committee, the Diversity Committee (3 terms), and the Diversity Grants Sub-committee (2010 and 2011), for which he was chair.

“LSAC is a tremendous source to law schools throughout the country,” he said. “I am honored to serve in this capacity.”
