- Applicants must have completed a minimum of 6 semesters of college-level coursework
- Applicants must have a cumulative CAS GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Applicants must have an ACT or SAT composite score in at least the 85th percentile nationally

- Miami University
- Oberlin College
- Ohio University
- The Ohio State University
- Shawnee State University
- Wright State University
- Youngstown State University
- Apply to Moritz College of Law through lsac.org.
- Enter 0 in the section that asks for an LSAT score and select the date of August 2026.
- Complete the Buckeye Legal Scholar Program Agreement (will be live on September 1, 2026).
- September 1, 2026: Application open
- September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET: All components of applications should be submitted and completed
- Mid-October 2026: Decisions released
- December 1, 2026: Seat deposit of $225 due
Admission is not guaranteed through the Buckeye Legal Scholar admission process. If you are not admitted to the Moritz College of Law through the Buckeye Legal Scholar program, you may still apply by taking the LSAT.
Students who are admitted through this program may not be eligible to transfer to another law school.
