Being part of this community means never having to go it alone.
Every student is paired with an academic advisor to help them navigate each aspect of their legal education. Additionally, as part of our academic advising, we have prepared a slate of documents that can help you plan your coursework based on both your academic and career interests.
Planning your future.
At Moritz, we strongly encourage students to pursue a broad legal education through choosing courses that are relevant to their professional goals and appealing to their personal interests.
Each curriculum plan also includes a list of faculty resources:
-
We encourage you to seek individual guidance on designing your 2L and 3L curriculum from any of the faculty members listed.
-
Curriculum for 1L students is specifically chosen to give students the foundation to build a successful legal education
-
1L students also have the opportunity to LP3 classes, which are typically only available to 3Ls at other law schools – so you can start honing your lawyering skills from the moment you set foot on campus.
In addition, the Assistant Dean for Students and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs are available to meet with students for general academic advising.
