The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law participates in the Law and Leadership Institute. This program brings 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders from underserved communities to Moritz each summer for five weeks. Students enrolled in the program gain critical academic skills in studying, test-taking and writing, in addition to self-confidence, an awareness of college-level expectations and interaction with positive role models to encourage and nurture their educational and professional goals. Moritz students often serve as teachers in the program. After participating in the summer, the program continues at Capital Law School during the academic year.
