Dan Maurer

Captain, US Army JAG Corps, Dan Maurer '08, recently returned from his second year-long deployment to Iraq, where he served as a brigade's Command Judge Advocate (senior legal counsel to brigade commander and staff) and, more importantly, watched the live birth of his third child, Alexander Finn, via Skype. He is currently an appellate counsel practicing before the Army Court of Criminal Appeals and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, in Washington, D.C., and has three scholarly articles pending publication in refereed military legal journals.
