Legal Writing & First-Year Curriculum

Did you know that Moritz revamped its first-year curriculum, including legal writing and research, this year?   Contracts is no longer a year-long course and is instead taught in the spring semester, which means, of course, now more pre-Thanksgiving contracts exam.  All students will also take a midterm in at least one of their classes this fall.  Legal research and writing have now been combined into legal analysis and writing (LAW). Moritz hired three new legal writing professors to help teach this new course.  Students will take LAW I in the fall and LAW II in the spring.
