A Word about Grades
Start your Job Search
You can and will find a satisfying job even if you do not graduate at the top of the class. Moritz is a highly selective, top tier school with an established reputation for producing exceptional attorneys.
Career satisfaction cannot be measured by firm size or starting salary. It is true that the larger the law firm, the more important a candidate's grades and that judges frequently choose their law clerks from those at the top of the class. Clearly, good grades can expand opportunities and lower grades can limit some options.
Remember, law school grades are not the last word on "opportunity." Students originally overlooked by employers who hire based on class rank can and do eventually join those organizations. Regardless of where you fall in the class, Moritz career counselors can work with you to develop a successful individualized job search strategy.
