The website contains cases from many 1L classes along with some 2L and 3L subjects. To use this service, simply go to the AudioCaseFiles website and "Sign Up for An Account." Use your OSU e-mail address (.osu.edu) when registering.
Homeland Security Digital Library
The Library has a new database, The Homeland Security Digital Library (HSDL), which is available to Federal Depository Libraries. The HSDL contains selected, unclassified U.S. policy documents relating to homeland security. Documents in the HSDL include CRS and GAO reports, presidential directives and national strategy documents, press releases and speeches, and theses and dissertations of the Naval Post Graduate School. Specialized documents from non-governmental entities are also included.
Subject Compilations of State Laws Now on HeinOnline
The Library has added HeinOnline's Subject Compilations of State Laws library to its database collection. This is an online version of the Cheryl Nyberg and Carol Boast Robertson’s Subject Compilations Bibliography Series that "has been recognized as the most comprehensive source for identifying thousands of articles, books, government documents, loose-leaf services, court opinions and Internet sites that compare state laws on hundreds of subjects."
Summaries of Republication and Democratic Conventions
The Humanities and Social Sciences division of the Library of Congress has provided "brief summaries of past Democratic and Republican National Conventions." The Democratic convention summaries begin in 1832, while the Republican summaries start in 1856. Both convention summaries have coverage through the 2004 national conventions.
25 Greatest Legal Movies
The ABA Journal had an article this month about the 25 Greatest Legal Movies. Also included were 25 honorable mentions. There are a lot of good movies on these lists, but I think they're stretching a bit on some of the honorable mentions.
