SALDF is a nationally recognized non-profit organization consisting of attorneys and other professionals working to win animals the legal rights and protections they deserve. The primary objectives of the Ohio State chapter of SALDF are to strengthen existing animal cruelty laws, advocate new laws aimed at improving animal welfare, and raise public awareness of issues relating to animals.
The Moritz Law School SALDF provides a forum for education, advocacy, and scholarship aimed at protecting the lives and advancing the interests of animals through the legal system, and raising the profile of the field of animal law. SALDF also participates in events such as the Annual Animal Law Conference.
